Hear from Our Customers
You need signage that stops people in their tracks. Not the flimsy stuff that fades after three months or tears in the first strong wind.
With over 20 years of industry knowledge and the highest quality materials, your custom banners will look sharp and stay strong for years. Commercial vehicle graphics and wraps now reach more consumers than any other form of outdoor advertising, and the same principle applies to strategically placed banners.
We get the job done super quick and it looks amazing every time. That’s what matters when you’re trying to promote an event, attract foot traffic, or make your business visible from the street.
Road Rage Designs was established in 1992 by President Mike Grillo, a 3M- and PDAA-certified installer. We’re not newcomers trying to figure things out as we go.
We’ve worked with hundreds of companies in the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin area, including plenty of businesses right here in Lake in the Hills. The companies, schools, municipalities, churches, organizations and individuals we service are located throughout the Northwestern suburbs and include Crystal Lake, Cary, Lake Zurich, Lake in the Hills, Carpentersville, Algonquin, Huntley, Marengo, Woodstock and Elgin.
We only use the highest quality materials and inks, talented and experienced designers, 3M and PDAA certified installers all under one roof. When your banner needs to work, it works.
First, we listen to you to help you find the advertisement that is right for you and reflects your company’s own unique personality. Then we make your new advertising campaign come to life.
Our state-of-the-art printer is capable of printing the custom graphics to any shape and size. After everything is checked and you’re completely satisfied: it’s time to print, cure & laminate your graphics. Now we give life to the project, we prepare the surface & professionally install all the vinyl.
Lastly, we call once your banner is ready to go! The same attention to detail applies whether we’re creating retractable banners for your trade show booth or large promotional banners for your storefront.

Feather banners are ingeniously designed banners made with thousands of micro-holes that allow wind to pass through them. For areas that get consistent wind, mesh banners or perforated vinyl work better than solid vinyl.
A flat surface is much easier to adhere the film to than a curved one. Sports cars look great with a nice wrap, but it takes time to apply it to every corner, curve, and crevasse on the vehicle. The same principle applies to banners—proper installation and the right material choice make all the difference. The installation of your banner is just as important as the material you choose. If the banner isn’t installed correctly, you can expect bubbles, lines, and a far shorter life span.
